The Underground Contractors Association of Illinois
recognizes the importance of providing a safe and healthful
work environment. Working together, we are committed to
achieving a reduction of injuries, illness, and fatalities
through open communication, promoting recognition for
construction safety excellence and sharing knowledge of best
practices that improve safety and health performance.
The OSHA Strategic Partnership Program provides an avenue
for employers and employees to improve their safety and
health management systems while working with OSHA in a
cooperative, non-adversarial way. This approach is effective
in reducing fatalities, injuries and illnesses in workplaces
across America. Through partnership, we are able to address
critical safety and health issues.
