Governmental Affairs Committee

The Governmental Affairs Committee monitors the activities of the Illinois State Legislature and federal legislation. They review and recommend issues for new legislation and determine which proposed legislation the association will take a position. Whenever appropriate, this committee reviews local and federal proposed legislation.

The committee is also responsible for raising funds for the UCA Political Action Fund (UCA PAC) and expending the funds in the best interest of the association. For more information on the UCA PAC, please contact Scott Dworschak at sdworschak@uca.org.
