Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters -- Residential
The Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters and the Residential Construction Employers Council (RCEC)  concluded a one-year agreement effective October 1, 2009.  There will be no wage package increase until there are 8,000 housing starts as issued by the U. S. Census Bureau.   The current wages will be decreased $2.40 and will be reallocated to fringe benefits.  There were changes to work rules pertaining to subcontracting, bonding, and right of first review.
